Hear from the best in business...
Machining has always been my profession and when I started shooting precision rifles gunsmithing soon became a passion. I started learning in the afternoons at ES-Tactical in Ogden and started the process of learning to build tack-drivers. Over the next couple of years I learned along side some of the best gunsmiths I knew and through trial and error, on my own, developed a process of building a rifle that will consistently stack bullets on top of each other.
Preece Precision started as a supplemental income while working as a service engineer installing and maintaining large CNC equipment. In late 2017, I decided to invest in a lathe and start the process of obtaining a FFL. Preece Precision started as a small out-of-the-garage business, but quickly grew out of the garage. In early 2019 Preece Precision moved into its own brick-and-mortar facility and I quit my day job.
Now I strive to produce rifles, tailored to my customer's needs, that shoot amazing and in a timely manner.
