Garret Preece didn’t start as a gunsmith. He started as a machinist and competitive shooter who couldn’t find a rifle that met his standards. So he learned to build his own. What began in a garage in 2017 grew into a full brick-and-mortar shop in Ogden, Utah by 2019, and Preece Precision hasn’t slowed down since.
Garret still competes in PRS at the Pro Series level, and that firsthand experience shapes every rifle that leaves the shop.
